If you didn’t buy an Asus Eee PC, you probably know someone that owns one, and if that’s not true either, I am sure you heard of the thing, at least that! When I saw it for the first time, I was quite surprised, and didn’t expect to see it sell so well. I usually don’t believe what the local press says, not “official” reports from local retailers either, but I have friends working in the field, and I know for sure that the Asus Eee PC had really strong sales. I see no problem with that, but Sony seems to have nightmares about the Eee PC leeping it up…

Jackson faces Neverland auction

Pop star Michael Jackson could lose his Neverland ranch if he fails to pay nearly $25m (£12.5m) that he owes on the sprawling California property. If Mr Jackson does not pay more than three months’ arrears on the property it will go to auction on 19 March, a Santa Barbara official told the BBC.

The reclusive singer has not lived at the property since his acquittal on child molestation charges in 2005.

He bought Neverland in 1987 intending to create a fantasy-land for children.

Vivienne Westwood’s new collection

Vivienne Westwood’s collection last night may have looked like it was designed by a bunch of over imaginative kids – and it was. Westwood had been sent some artwork by a school in Nottingham and impressed, she asked them to collaborate with her.

The result was an eco-hippy look emblazoned with hand-painted butterflies, snakes and monsters. The make-up looked like it had been done by a child too, and one with non-too-steady a hand. The audience were clearly baffled - some booed, some applauded. Quite what the market will make of it is another story.
