It may not be winter yet, but when things turn chilly, you’re not going to want to yank your gloves off just to tap out a text message on your touchscreen.
Nokia just announced a trio of Nokia handsets: Nokia 6600 slide, 6600 fold, and 3600 slide. The 6600 fold it is said to smoothly arc open with the press of a button and reveal a 2.13-inch OLED display with 16 million colors.
What is very interesting are the tap commands. When of, a double-tap on the cover reveals the time, messages and missed calls. A double-tap also snoozes alerts and silences or rejects incoming phone calls.
The 6600 slide has the same tap technology but the digital camera has 3.2 megapixels with a 2.2-inch QVGA.

Lenovo’s IdeaPad notebook line basically takes their staid but solid engineering and design and candycoats them with more consumer-oriented flourishes, like textured magnesium lids, shiny keys and touch media controls. J&R has a “coming soon” listing for the sweet 11.1-inch widescreen U110 shown at CES for $1,999, configured w/ a 1.6GHz Core 2 Duo L7500, 3GB DDR2 RAM and 120GB hard drive.
Jabra, having mastered the art of monogamous cellphone to headset pairing, is moving on to the trickier task of two chicks at once—except instead of chicks, it’s any two Bluetooth devices. The M5390 can connect simultaneous to any two endpoints, making it extremely easy to swap back and forth between, say, two cellphones, or a cellphone and a desktop Skype connection.
